Wardies

Growing up I had great friends. Friday night Addison and I were able to go on a date with some of the best girls that I know and their husbands. We went met up at my parents house because that is where we dropped off Alex for my Mom to baby-sit. It was kinda like weird deja-vu seeing everyone in my front room again.
We went to the Haunted Forest in American Fork. I have to say that I was 98% impressed. I had to dock off 2% because the tickets were extremely expensive for us poor students. Even waiting in line was entertaining. Addison got to make faces at Michael Jackson's thriller video, a huge pumpkin jumped out from behind a fence, Jack Sparrow was fighting like crazy to find rum and the ghost busters even made a cameo. And that was just the waiting in line. The haunted house and forest were fun. I kinda felt back for the tall people in our group because there was ALOT OF bending over. Hehe.
Here are pictures of us waiting in line. We weren't allowed to take any of them in the house or forest. Sorry.

Three's a Crowd

There are times when you think that ... " When I reach this point, I'll know I've made it" or "When this happens, I know things are getting better." Not that things are bad, just that they can always improve. Let me explain.
When Addison and I were brand new newly weds, I had one of those moments. I knew that the day that we could afford real garbage bags would mean that things had improved. Does that make sense? I know it sound silly but for garbage bags we just used the plastic bags that we took home when we went grocery shopping. Boy did they fill up fast. I remember thinking how nice it would be to have a real garbage bag that didn't need to be taken out to the trash 3 times a day. Once a day would be great. Well, folks... the time has come again when I feel that "If only I could have 1 vacuum cleaner that could fulfill all my vacuuming needs, then things would be better." That's right, I own 3! One is for picking up small pieces dirt, one picks up string and one I use for the excellent hose suction to get into the creases of my couches and the cracks where the carpet meets the wall. I love that they were all free and they all fullfill there intended purposes. However; lately I find myself fantasizing of only owning 1. Aren't we always suppose to be aspiring to get more things and here I am wanting to get rid of them? Hehe.
So, until that day comes I, Ana Steinagel, am currently am a 3 vacuum cleaner owner and user.

It's about time...

It's about time that I post. I know, sorry. (I'm mainly talking to Courtney. J/k) Things were really crazy in August and I was really lazy in September so now it's October and I guess it's ok to post now. Hehe. I'm going to go really fast so try and keep up.
I'll just start from the top. It's going to be really brief because I don't want to wright forever. it would take forever! See this handsome man? This is Jordan Steinagel, Addison's little brother. He left for his mission to Santiago Chile. Before entering the MTC, were we got to drop him off, he stayed with us for 3 weeks. It was awesome. And Mackenzie and Taylor came over as well and we had a blast hanging out with Family! Here are some pics of the 3 weeks we spent together.
Alex also turned 2 in August. I was in charge of throwing him a birthday party and Addison was in charge of the present. You wouldn't believe what he bought him. A blow up bounce house! It's ridiculous! But the kids love it and right now it's set up in Alex's bedroom. It's huge but he loves it. It's his own Fortress of Solitude.
Then in September I took Alex to the petting zoo at Thanksgiving Point. Aunt Lindsey, Zoe and Grandma Anays (my mom) came. Alex hasn't forgotten the "horshies." He keeps asking about them all of the time.
And that's a really watered up version of what we've been up to since then. I'll be better about blogging now. (we'll see.) Until later!
