Three blogs in one month? It's usually about 3 blogs in one year! But I had to share and brag that my son is adorable. I love him.
We took Alex to Trafalga on Saturday. He was so cute. We lost our camera halfway through the day so I didn't get pictures of him in the go carts or with his 3D glasses on. But, luckily, some awesome good Samaritan turned it into lost and found.
Here he is golfing. It was so funny. He would do the initial swing, hit the ball and then walk it to the hole where he could put it in better. He was a pro. Then we got Dip n' Dots. He was so serious about eating it too. Didn't want to share.
The next two are from this morning. We got him new church clothes. He's so cute. He loves his tie.
And then, during sacrament meeting at church, Alex got so upset because he missed a prayer and was determined that our whole family keep our eyes closed and arms folded until the youth speaker ended the talk "in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen." It was funny. HaHa. What a doll.

6 months worth of pictures.
I am really not that much of a blogger, I decided. I'm not a writer. I'm a reader. Which, for those who are more visually stimulated, I think you'll enjoy this post more than my other ones.
The first few pictures are of our new place. Except, Addison's "office", the 2nd bath and our bedroom. Those pictures are still on the camera and I just don't feel like uploading them right now. :D
The next 2 are from last weekend. We took Alex to the Vineyard Pumpkin Patch. We got lost in a corn maze, saw a lot of farm animals, played on huge blow-up toys and a fun playground. He had a blast. Unfortunately, my camera died after the 2nd picture. Alex just doesn't like to look at the camera. He'll do it for a half of a second, and then refuse to after that so it's rare for me to get a picture where you can see his big brown eyes.
I think the next few are from the 4th of July. I took Alex to see the balloon launch at the Provo High School baseball field He was in heaven. He talked about the "root-beer" balloon for a week straight after that. (It was shaped like an old fashion coke bottle, but he still called it the root-beer balloon.) Then we went and watched Toy Story 3, the 2nd time we've ever taken him to a movie theater. And then finished the night up at Mitch and Amber Watkin's home for fireworks. That is the last family picture I've had taken. We're about due. This also happened to be within the hour that I found out I realized that I was pregnant. I was pretty happy in that picture. (Once again, Alex won't look at the camera.)
And somewhere in there is a pic of Addison and Alex when we took a trip to the zoo back in May.
These next few weeks are going to be exciting for us. Tuesday we'll find out of our little tumbler has a "kickstand or not." (Quote from my Dr.) The next week Addison's sister and her daughter will be visiting. Soooo excited. Then Halloween, which is easily one of Addison's favorite holidays. I think he likes candy more than most children. And then one of my favorite holidays is next. Thanksgiving!
I'm sure I'll be back next week to announce what we'll be having come March. My guess is it's a baby... we'll see. J/K.

Apparently My Summer Vacation is Over
I unintentionally took a vacation from blogging this summer, and soooo much stuff has happened.
1. We moved. We left Lakeside Storage. It was bitter-sweet. This was Alex's first home. It was an answer to so many prayers when we got the job. We'd lived there for 2 months shy of 3 years. I loved the girls I worked with, the cow and horse paster I could look at out my bedroom window, the trees on the river trail were gorgeous. I loved where we lived. However; in May, we received a wonderful opportunity with a company that I worked for straight out of high school.
I now work as the onsite manager for a student housing complex in Orem. Our home is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment. So, one bathroom and bathroom then what we had in Provo. I work just an hour extra then what I worked at Lakeside Storage. I also have a set schedule which allows me to make set plans for Dr. Appointments, running errands, play dates for Alex. Next, the first 28 hours of every pay period pays for my rent. Any extra I work I get compensated for. Which brings me to my next point.
2. Addison has gone back to school full time. Because we have this job opportunity, we will be able to have him just concentrate on finishing school. It'll take a few years, but at least it won't be a stop and go game. He's currently taking 14 on campus classes and finishing a 3 credit independent study class. His classes are every morning so he's home in the afternoon when I have to work. We tag team watching Alex. I'm very proud of Addy. I know it's hard for him to just concentrate on school, but it's got to be done.
3. Alex turned 3 years old in August. He is such a charmer. He had a fun birthday party with a few of his cousins. He was so excited by the Buzz Lightyear and Woody toys he got that he didn't even want to leave to go play at Chuck E Cheese. Maybe next year. We're still trying to potty train him, and I'll be honest, we're not having much success. (Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.)Alex loves so many things. He loves to play outside, he loves friends, he loves nursery, he loves any PBS kids show. He's a wizz on the computer. No, I'm not joking about this. Addison has taught him well. He says the cutes prayers every night and is such a good example to his parents. I love him so much.
4. Baby number 2 is coming. I'm so excited. We're all excited. He/She will be due in March 2011. I've been sicker this time than I was with Alex. I completely forgot how tired I would be. I have to take a nap, almost every day. It's hard not to feel like a lump on a log. Hehe. We have a few names picked out already, but aren't going to decide until we figure out what gender we're having. No, I have no idea. My guesses usually aren't right anyway. We'll find out sometime around Halloween. We're so ready to give Alex a sibling. It's amazing how much love I already feel for this life that's growing inside of me.
Well, I have pictures to show. Of Alex's birthday party, summer activities, but I want to do all of them at once. Including pictures of our new place, but I'll need to clean before I take those. I plan on doing this tomorrow, we'll see though. I tend to say that a lot. ;)

Like Father, Like Son
These two are wonderful. I'm so grateful for both men in my home. Alex watches and copies Addison all of the time. He is really the funniest little person I know! He's talking so much lately and is interested in any animal that comes our way. And Addison is such a wonderful dad. He always takes about an hour each day after work just to hang out with Alex. They spell, play on the computer, throw the ball, jump on the bed, shoot bad guys or watch Mickey Mouse until Alex has to go to bed.
I LOVE YOU GUYS.
P.S. I'm not going to even begin to apologize for not posting in almost 2 months. I have no excuses. It's just who I am.

Kids Say the Darndest Things
I love that Alex is finally starting to talk to Addison and me. It's wonderful to be able to know what he wants instead of just guessing. However; Alex is talking and that means he's listening too. He repeats whatever we say. Since he's around me the most... he says a lot of the same things that I do. I've never realized how hard it was to watch what you say. I thought I was doing really good until Alex and I were playing one day and he threw a toy. *Throwing toys in our house is a 'no-no.' I told him 'No' and he turned at me and said... "ADDISON!" That's right. Alex now thinks that when your playing and then someone does something wrong, it's called doing an "Addison." Hahaha.
I have a very playful husband who loves to tickle me and we get into pillow fights. I think this is where Alex learned to yell Addy's name because I yell it. It's too funny. I love my little boy.

Laugh Out Loud
We were watching Mary Poppins as a family Monday night and Addison turns to me and says... "Mary Poppins is hot." I couldn't help but laugh out loud or 'lol' as my hubby would say.
But who am I to judge. My celebrity crush is Bill Pullman. I looked it up and he's only 3 years younger than my dad, older than my mom. Hehe.
(A Christmas related blog coming soon. Promise.)

In the Spirit of Thanksgiving
To be thankful, greatful, and appreciative is something that I hope I never forget to do. I'm greatful for my Savior, Jesus Christ. I'm so thankful for the atonement, to know that He understands my sorrows and regrets and has made a way for me to repent of the stupid sins that I have commited. Thank you. I'm greatful for Heavenly Father for sending me here to this earth, for the body I have, the family I've been born into and the one I married into. I'm greatful for my wonderful husband and best friend. Addison is truley feels like my other half. And I'm greatful for Alex. My hilarious, energetic and compassionate son. I never understood how anyone could fall in love so instantaniously until I met Alex. And my mother and father. You will never meet people more giving than they. They are the net that catches you when you slip. I love you Mom and Dad.
Now, for the superficial things. I'm greatful for cool nights under a thick quilt, a book that I get lost in for days on end, movies with happy endings, Q-tips, board games, the river trail I live near, wind, fishing, and much more.
Feel free to watch the video below. It's the link called 'In the spirit of Thanksgiving.' It's fun to think of the things that you are greatful for when you get to hear what others may be thankful for.
