Jesus is the Christ

Our family wanted to take the time to share some important thoughts with you. Thank you for reading.

I know that Jesus is my savior and is my Lord. I am so grateful for Him and for my Heavenly Father. I know that He is there and loves me. He loves us all. That's why we're here on earth. Our Heavenly Father loves us enough to give us what we all desperately desired; to be like Him. And this life is our chance to overcome all of our faults and frailties and learn to be beyond happy. I've prayed to Him and have experienced his hand in my life. I love my God. I'm grateful for the restored gospel and for a prophet on earth today. - Ana I. Steinagel

Our Heavenly Father has a plan for all of us. I have witnessed our Father's hand in my life, as well as His Son's hand. I know he is there. I have felt Him and have witnessed miracles from Him in my life as well as the lives of others. I am so thankful for all the blessings in my life, and I know that we are all put here on earth to receive tests from our Father in heaven, as well as to receive blessings too. I also know that the Book of Mormon and the Bible to be true, and that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon in our latter days. I know that we have modern day Prophets, Seers and Revelators. I'm so thankful for the gospel and the blessing it is in my life. - Addison B. Steinagel

I love my mom and dad. - Alex L. Steinagel

A Busy Life

You know life is good when you are so busy and it's because you are surrounded by those you love, things that matter, and you don't mind the chaos. Last week was one of those weeks. Tuesday, June 18th,Addion's younger brother, Jordan, got his Eagle! Congrats Jordy! What a huge accomplishment. I didn't realize everything these guys had to do for that. (Since I grew up in a house for of girls...) They even had a really neat display of ravens, falcons, owls and even 2 eagles. One of which was a BALD EAGLE! (not really bald by the way) It was very great to see, except that I have this very unusual fear of birds so I stayed in the corner of the gym most of the time just not trying to draw attention to myself. But that's another story.

Wednesday, June 19th, we were invited by Addison's parents, Lane and Jenne, to be part of their setting apart for their calling a a Mission President in Kiev Ukraine. It was very neat to meet Elder Cook. A real apostle! I just kept thinking that this man is just like Peter, and Paul and John.... An apostle. It was a very lovely spiritual experience.

Thursday Alex got his first haircut. He was so well behaved! I couldn't help but take some pictures. He looks so handsome now. Even more than he did!

Friday, June 20th, Jennifer Harris gave birth to a beautiful Baby girl. Adalyn Grace Harris 7 lbs 3 oz 19 in. Jennifer and I have been friends since... I can't remember. We grew up in the same ward and I'm so happy that we're still great friends. She'll be a fantastic mother.

And then Wednesday, June 25th, we said goodbye to Lane, Jenne, Jordan, Morgan and Slade as they headed off to serve the Lord in Kiev! We can't wait to visit in 2010!

Fireworks and the Pool!

Addison, Alex and I got to enjoy Summer Fest in Orem this past weekend! Alex was so astounded by the activity going on everywhere. We met up with cousins Zoe and Ava. (Mom of course forgot to take pictures) After watching the last of the parade we sat on the grass infront of Target and waited for the fireworks. I loved the look on Alex's face. He was so excited to see them. He kept bouncing up and down and then looking at us to see if we could see them too. This picture is of Alex watching the fireworks.

Then yesterday, for Father's Day, we went to my dad's house for a Bar-B-Que. My dad prides himself on making good Stakes. The cool part was all but one of my dad's kids were able to come. (this happens about once every 3 years.) It was great to see everyone. My sister Lindsey brought over's Zoe's pool and Alex had his very first swimming experience! He loved it. Not that I'm surprised. He's so difficult to control when he's taking a bath. This is a picture of Alex and his cousin Karson playing in the pool. They're too cute if I do say so myself.

Get me to the church on time!...

MACKENZIE'S MARRIED! I'm so so so happy for her. You can tell that Taylor are so in love just by looking at them. Addison and I attended their sealing in the Salt Lake Temple yesterday. It was beautiful. I've never been inside that temple before and I was blown away by it's elegance and spirit. There is nothing in the world like a temple. It was glorious. We were both excited to share their day with them. and Alex was such a trooper to hold up while all the pictures were being taken. (it was a long process) This is going to be mainly a picture blog... sorry, but I hope you enjoy them.

May is here!

Well, things are going to be crazy for us this month. Let me explain.

  1. Work: We are trying to find a new girl to work for us but because my boss is beyond impossibly strict on who he hires. It has been kinda nighmarish. There are only 3 of us and 1 of the girls quit. The other girl is going on vacation for a
week so that mean I have to work 9+ hours a day with a 9 month old and still try and find someone to hire and train.

  2. Big Show is coming up. Lots of practice. I kinda worry about the practices getting in the way of other things coming up.

  3. May 10th is Addison's Birthday and he says he doesn't want anything. What a pooper. He loves Ruby River so that will definately be on the schedual. This is the first time in 3 years that he wasn't going to be doing military duties on his birthday. (Last year he was in Israel training.)

  4. May 10th is also Jennifer Harris' baby shower and I can't make it anymore because I have to work because I'm the only one all call. So sad.

  5. My cute sister-in-law is getting married at the end of the month and I don't think I can be happier for her. I just through her a bridal shower on the 3rd. It turned out pretty good, if I can say so myself. She's beyond sweet.

I just read over this and realized that it sounds like I'm complaining. I'm not trying to. Just saying that this month will be insanely busy. But, I can handle it. I've got my family and Heavenly Father. That is all I need.

Well, I'm going to end with some recent pictures of our family enjoying the new weather outside. YEAH! I'm so glad spring is here.

Our Home!

I decide to also post pictures of our home. Just for fun.

The Good, The Bad and the OWIE!

THE GOOD : Addison is so excited. We finally received our Federal Tax Refund and now he can get his toy for the year. I should explain. Addison and I decided that no matter what, each year we get a tax return, part of that should go to something fun. And since last year I got new couches... this year he gets a brand new laptop. I swear, he's like a little kid at Christmas. I'm really excited for him. (Don't worry, not ALL of it is going to the laptop.)
THE BAD : There is no bad. But... something had to go there in the title.
THE OWIE : I FELL DOWN and it hurt. I sound like a 90 year old woman with a hip problem. But, nope, just a 22 year old with icy steps. I had even put that ice melt stuff on them 2 hours before I fell but I happened to step in the one area where the ice didn't melt so down I went. Luckily, I was able to catch Alex and he didn't get hurt... but I did. These last two days have been spent at home with a wonderful little pill called a muscle relaxer. But, my pain is now almost all gone. So... no more owie. Hehe. I might have cracked my tailbone but it'll heal by itself. No need for an x-ray.
