To be thankful, greatful, and appreciative is something that I hope I never forget to do. I'm greatful for my Savior, Jesus Christ. I'm so thankful for the atonement, to know that He understands my sorrows and regrets and has made a way for me to repent of the stupid sins that I have commited. Thank you. I'm greatful for Heavenly Father for sending me here to this earth, for the body I have, the family I've been born into and the one I married into. I'm greatful for my wonderful husband and best friend. Addison is truley feels like my other half. And I'm greatful for Alex. My hilarious, energetic and compassionate son. I never understood how anyone could fall in love so instantaniously until I met Alex. And my mother and father. You will never meet people more giving than they. They are the net that catches you when you slip. I love you Mom and Dad.
Now, for the superficial things. I'm greatful for cool nights under a thick quilt, a book that I get lost in for days on end, movies with happy endings, Q-tips, board games, the river trail I live near, wind, fishing, and much more.
Feel free to watch the video below. It's the link called 'In the spirit of Thanksgiving.' It's fun to think of the things that you are greatful for when you get to hear what others may be thankful for.

Wardies
Growing up I had great friends. Friday night Addison and I were able to go on a date with some of the best girls that I know and their husbands. We went met up at my parents house because that is where we dropped off Alex for my Mom to baby-sit. It was kinda like weird deja-vu seeing everyone in my front room again.
We went to the Haunted Forest in American Fork. I have to say that I was 98% impressed. I had to dock off 2% because the tickets were extremely expensive for us poor students. Even waiting in line was entertaining. Addison got to make faces at Michael Jackson's thriller video, a huge pumpkin jumped out from behind a fence, Jack Sparrow was fighting like crazy to find rum and the ghost busters even made a cameo. And that was just the waiting in line. The haunted house and forest were fun. I kinda felt back for the tall people in our group because there was ALOT OF bending over. Hehe.
Here are pictures of us waiting in line. We weren't allowed to take any of them in the house or forest. Sorry. The whole group.

Proof
Ok. Here's proof that I'm the nerd that I've always been. :D
I'm doing online classes at UVU for now. This allows me to be a stay at home mom, work and still get school done even though I can't actually attend classes. My professor e-mailed the results of our latest math test. I was pretty sure that I didn't do too well. I remember it taking me a bit of time. I was distracted because I needed to pick up Alex soon from my sister's house so he could get to his nap on time and I could get to work on time and I had about 7 out of 25 questions that I really didn't understand and I had to go back and recheck them or to try and figure them out. I'm one of those people who when they do a test I go through all of the easy stuff first and then go back to the hard ones. 7 questions to go back to was quite a lot. I was sure that I knocked my grade down just a few pegs. Sad.
Yesterday I received an e-mail from my professor. Here's a little snippet.
"The course grade posted in Blackboard reflects the result of homework assignments (Chapters 1- 8), quizzes and Tests 1 & 2.
Test 2 result: Highest Grade: 96
Lowest Grade: 13 "
I went to check my grades and I GOT THE HIGHEST GRADE. I kind of forgot what it felt like to excel in school. Last semester I got b's. B's are good but they're nothing like an A.
Ok, So I'm bragging and it's really not attractive and I'm sure now that I posted this I'm going to do horrible on my next test but I just wanted to say that the nerd is back.
