I love my country.

"Give me your tired, your poor,Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
—Emma Lazarus, 1883

The New Colossus has been one of my very favorites since I was privileged to read that poem at the base of that huge statue, and climb up into the inside of her head and look out the windows of her crown at the tender age of 14.....I love my country, also.
Thanks, triple As, for sharing your patriotism!
